Introducing FLIGHT: Financial Literacy Inspiring Growth to Help Teens, a fun summer program for teens in Tacoma. The FLIGHT program is part of the YMCA Summer Late Night Programs, and it’s all about teaching you how to be smart with money so you can make your dreams come true.
During FLIGHT, you’ll participate in fun activities, win awesome prizes, and you can learn all about money! Remember to listen closely, attend our workshops, and play in our activities, so you have a chance at winning fun prizes!
FLIGHT teaches you the secrets of a millionaire. During the summer program, we’ll show you how to budget , save up money for things you want, and even think about borrowing money. During the fall program, we’ll show you how to earn money, invest your money, and protect your money. You will learn all of the things you need to do to have a successful career! We will put you on track to get to where you would like to go – on a path of success!
Not only will you learn about money, but you will also learn about different jobs, and how to get the jobs, and how to work jobs that interest you so you can do the things you love and make the money you deserve. Whether you want to run your own business, work with your hands, be a lawyer, be a doctor, or be a computer engineer, understanding money will help you reach your goals.
